physical trade of energy related carbon products. Purchasing
products from a number of established sources, EGL Carbon purchases
as a principal and arranges onward transportation to industrial
companies, electricity generating utilities and distributors
to the domestic market within Europe.
EGL Carbon’s product knowledge and long established connections
with suppliers enables it to competitively source products to
meet not only the more commonly available carbon products but
is prepared to make special efforts to locate and supply those
more technically specific, and often unique products.
The activity recognises
the high standard of both product quality and preparation demanded
by the industry and works closely with suppliers and customers
to ensure satisfaction to both.
A measure of the flexibility of EGL’s service to the carbon
market is the wide range of parcel sizes that make up its delivery
profile, 1mt to a traction engine fair to 70,000 mt ocean going
shipment to a power station.
